Marsabit police rescues animals from drowning

A police based in Marsabit county has gone beyond the call of duty to rescue drowning animals from raging floods.

Kevin Otunga from Loglogo location, Marsabit county joined resident cross their animals in a fast flowing river.

The waters seemed to much for the animals that some were being swept away in the process but thanks to the police, he made sure of their safety.

In other news, a police officer was found dead in his house inside Ruiru police station.

The officer is said to have hanged himself inside his house under unclear circumstances.

It is the second incident to happen at Ruiru police station in less than a month as reported by Thika Town.

“A police based in Ruiru Police Station on Saturday hanged himself inside his house that is within the station over unclear circumstances. This is the second suicide incident at the station within a span of less than a month.” Said Thika Town.
