Singer and Mathare MP Aspirant Bahati has been handed Jubilee party nomination certificate weeks after he was told to step down.
In April, the singer lamented how he has and the youth at large have been denied the right to govern the country as he called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene.
“Dear My President H.E Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta… Dear The 5th Raila Odinga… I Strongly Believe There’s a Space for the Youth in the Azimio Government… Please Intervene on this issue and Let the People of Mathare Get Justice.” Said Bahati

Kenyans took to social media to mock the singer advising him to develop a clear mindset that he can loose it all when it comes to politics.
The news was similar to that of Churchill Show comedian MC Jessy who dropped out South Imenti MP seat in favour of fellow UDA candidate before going independent on the same seat.
“Sent like an arrow from a mighty man’s hand. We keep going….. Bado Tuko kwa race. Let’s do this South Imenti, 9th August it is.” Said MC Jessy.
