Matiang’i deactivates Twitter account, Moses Kuria to follow

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Dr. Fred Matiang’i deactivates his Twitter account hours after the inauguration of President William Ruto.

Even though the reason behind the move remains unknown, the fierce CS has been on the wrong side of the political divide with the fifth President of the country.

Before the elections, Ruto accused Matiang’i of taking up his responsibilities following the famous handshake that caused a rift between retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and his successor President William Ruto.

Addressing the media, the former CS revealed little about the inside issues rocking the government at the time as he spearheaded some development projects under the Uhuru administration.

Former Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has also revealed plans to deactivate his Twitter account in what he said was after achieving his task to see Hon. William Ruto clinches the Presidency.

“My objective has been achieved. My good friend William Ruto is the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya. This account will be permanently deleted on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at 18:00 hours. It was great interaction guys. Adios !” said Kuria
