Manchester United has let go of defender Matteo Darmian who has joined Italian side Parma on a four-year deal.
Matteo Darmian joined Manchester United in 2015 during the era of Louis Van Gal at a fee of 12.7 million pounds from Italian side Torino.
He was able to be part of the team that took Manchester United to the FA Cup final during his first year at the club.
Unfortunately, he has managed to make 92 appearances for the Red Devils even though his contract was due to expire in 2020.
Since 2017 Matteo he has managed to make 13 appearances for the Red Devils.
Darmian joins the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling who joined Serie A side Inter Milan and Roma respectively.

Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku suffered racial abuse during Inter Millan match against Cagliari.
Lukaku who scored from the penalty spot watched at fans that had initially referred to him as a monkey.
This is not the first time Cagliari has committed the same offense as other players joining the list include Muntari and Keane.
