Meru Polytechnic students burn buildings during a protest

Students of Meru Polytechnic have on Monday burned down several buildings as they protested.

The students were protesting the killing of one of their own on Sunday night.

Several buildings could be seen to be on fire as residents rushed to salvage something from the inferno.

Properties of unknown amounts have been destroyed as the little that was solved was kept away from the fire.
