Mexico pull a surprise win against Germany

Its the second time in history that Mexico have beaten world champions Germany during there world cup opening game at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Hirving Lozano’s 35th minute composed finish gave the Mexicans a 1- 0 victory extending Germany woes which started way before the world cup.

 Germany who have never been relegated in a world cup group stage saw coach Joachim Loew start eight of his world cup players with Mesut Ozil making a return from a knee injury and Manuel Neuerr holding the post after a lengthy absence due to injury.

Kross who came close to scoring saw his free kick being save by the tips of Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa who was so outstanding between the post.
