Mghange residents protest poor state of the road

Residents of Mghange in Taita Taveta are protesting the poor state of the road in the area.

They have instead planted bananas, arrowroots, and sugarcane along the Mghange road in protest of its bad state.

In agony, they recall when President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the construction of the same road back in 2017.

“Yesterday President Kenyatta was in Taita Taveta & launched the tarmacking of the 56 KM Bura–Mghange–Werugha–Mbale–Msau–Mtwamwagodi Road.” Said Ambassador Manoah Esipisu.

Leaders from the area lead have been called upon to step up and do something instead of being held in politics.

“Where is the area MP and senator to escalate this beyond the social media – if funds were allocated, tendered, awarded and launched – what is the progress after 2yrs?” Said Architect Kyaka.

“And then we have a non-functional county government whose governor is caught between impeachment and dissolution but enjoys Rhumba on Milele FM every Sunday.” Said, Coronatus.
