Lukenya University in Makueni County was last night on fire burning offices in the premises.
Among the offices affected by the fire was the finance office,Vice Chancellor’s office,deputy vice chancellor’s office among other offices.
The mid-night fire which was suspected to due to faulty electric cables spread to other blocks amid attempt from the Makueni County fire fighters to put it off.
Confirming the incident was Kibwezi Assistant Commandant Vitalis who said”The fire started some few minutes past mid-night, though fire fighters from Makueni County Government put off the fire nothing was salvaged. No casualties reported since students sleep a distance away from the Administration block,”
