Migori Governor Okoth Obado released

Migori Governor Okoth Obado has on Friday been released on a cash bail of Ksh 200,000.

Addressing the court, the Magistrate dismissed the prosecution for not giving enough evidence to hold the governor in detention.

She further added that the Migori Governor should not in any way interfere with the witnesses in the case involving the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

If in any way he would interfere, then the Magistrate warned of reviewing the terms set for granting a bail application.
