Miguna Miguna has filled a case at the High court in Nairobi challenging his deportation and revocation of his citizenship by the government.
He also wants the court to grant an order following a gazette notice terming National Resistance Movement (NRM) as a criminal organization.
In the case filled at the Milimani Courts, the controversial lawyer wants the government to reinstate his passport and avail it to him.He also want orders to gain his re-entry into the country.

Lawyer John Khaminwa terms the deportation as unlawful and unconstitutional.In the petition filled,Khaminwa says that his client is entitled to return into the country without any delay and to answer to charges leveled against him before the chief magistrate court in Kajiado.
Those named as respondents in the case include CS Fred Matiang’i,Director of immigration Dr. Gordon Kihalangwa,Inspector general of police Joseph Boinnet, DCI George Kinoti,officer in charge of flying squad Said Kiprotich,Officer Commanding Police Division JKIA and the Attorney General.
