Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has conceded defeat to Esther Passaris who was declared the winner of the Nairobi Woman Representative.
Taking on social media, Omanga noted that even though the results are not in her favour, Esther Passaris deserves all the supports as enters the office for the next five years.
“I want to thank the people of Nairobi who voted for me & those who didn’t. I accept the results even though they’re not in my favour. Esther Passaris has won, she deserves our support & prayers as she steers the office of Woman Rep for the next 5 years. May God bless our country.” Said Omanga

The Sunday morning results placed Passaris ahead of her bitter political rival Millicent Omanga as she garnered a total of 698,929 votes against Omanga’s 586,246 votes.
Speaking after the news, Passaris thanked the people of Nairobi for voting for her as she promised to work for every Nairobian including those who voted against her.
She continued by dedicating the win to her father who passed away back in January promising to exercise integrity, one of the core principles she was taught by her late father.
“I want to thank everyone in my Azimio team and all the voters in Nairobi. We will work tirelessly to serve all of you. When we get into office we will only care on delivering the promises we made and we are guided by the manifesto of the Azimio family,” said Passaris
