Missing Kitui deputy governor’s vehicle found in Mombasa

Kitui Deputy Governor’s vehicle which went missing since Thursday has been found in Mombasa.

However Deputy Governor Wathe NZau’s driver is yet to be found after going missing with the vehicle in Mwingi.

Confirming the incident was Mombasa Police Commander Johnston Ipara who confirmed the vehicle was found abandoned in Likoni.

Mr. Ipara continued by saying that they are yet to now the driver as at the time it was abandoned in Likoni.

The vehicle which was a Prado TX, Dark grey in colour with registration number KBW 893V went missing after Mr. Anthony Kang’oti dropped off the deputy governor at the requiem mass of the 10 pupils who perished in the Mwingi accident.

As soon as it was reported missing, police have been tracking the driver’s signal which was traced to Kiembeni, Bamburi Estate, Mombasa County.
