Major League Soccer (MLS) has on Friday confirmed that they are investigating the transfer of Blaise Matuidi to Inter Miami for any possible breach of salary budget.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player joined Juventus for three seasons before signing for David Beckham’s owned club Inter Miami on a free transfer back in August.
In a statement issued by the club, the confirmed the investigation and expressed how open they are to corporate in any way possible.

Blaise Matuidi who turns 34 years next year has score only one goal for the American based club in 15 appearances as the club is set to welcome former Manchester United player Phil Neville as their new coach next month.
Inter Miami was bought at a discount following the transfer of David Beckham from Real Madrid. It then began operations last year. It landed the French man through allocation money setting his salary at $1.6 million.
Beckham currently serves as the club’s President with Jorge Mas taking up the managing director’s role.
