Modern Coast passengers stranded, Mombasa office closed

Modern Coast passengers were on Wednesday left stranded after NTSA withdrew their license.

The move by NTSA following recent accidents caused by the company with the recent one involving two of their buses that collided killing seven people.

Police were called in and instructed not to allow buses linked to the company from operating.

The announcement led to closure of their Mombasa office as passengers streemed in to know their fate.

December being a festive season, many book in advance to avoid unnecessary rush to their destinations.

Questions have been raised over the safety of the company with some passengers saying the drivers are being overworked to meet shortage of staff.
