An ambush in the capital Tehran has on Friday claimed the life of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a top Iran nuclear scientist.
According to the country’s minister of defense, the incident happened after the attackers targeted the vehicle the scientist was in.

Israel has been drawn into the killing by Iran Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad who also termed it as an act of cowardise.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, 59-years of age has been named before by the U.S and Israel as the brains behind nuclear programmes in the country which were to be done in secret.
Iran has long denied his involvement and in 2015 he was named in the list of nuclear developers in the world.
In 2018, his named popped up in the list of the remaining nuclear programmers as confirmed by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
