Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reported to have dined with Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi.
The meeting follows the club’s poor performance under the leadership of boss Unai Emery this season.
Questions have been raised over the future of the Spaniard who failed to take Arsenal to the Champions League last season.
This season, the club’s woes continue as they keep registering a poor string of results like the 1-1 draw against Wolves over the weekend.
- Wolves hold Arsenal to pile more pressure on Unai Emery
- Xhaka offered counseling by Arsenal following outburst
His mental preparedness for the club has also been questioned especially when they were defeated by newly promoted side Sheffield.
In addition to all that, Emery is said to be at logger heads with senior members of Arsenal, something that does not look good for his career.
Raul Sanllehi has been very close with Mourinho lately and the two were seen together during the club’s Europa League fixture with Victoria at the Emirates.
Time will tell if the former Arsene Wenger’s critic will join Emirates following his unceremonious exit at Manchester United.
He made it public that he would like to scoop another tittle with a third premier league club and by look of things then the club might be Arsenal.
Sanllehi is rumored to have been impressed by Mourinho’s vision for the club and the lost glory that he will bring back.
