Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho has responded following a 2-1 defeat by rivals Chelsea at the Stamford Brigde.
Jose Mourinho noted that Chelsea had their world champion striker while the second player for England was at the bench.
He continued by pointing out how he lacked strikes during the EPL clash saying his best striker was in hospital.
“Mourinho on the loss: “Chelsea’s striker was a World Champion and on the bench was the second player for England. In the stands the second striker for Belgium. We have zero strikers on the pitch, in the stands, they are in hospital.”
Mourinho was referring to Harry Kane and Son Heung who are both nursing muscle and arm injury.
The world class striker for Chelsea Olivier Giroud netted the first goal for the Blue in the first half before Alonso double the lead in the second half.
Rudiger scored an own goal but it was too late for Tottenham to level things up at the end of extra time.
