Johana Ng’eno the MP of Emurua Dikirr has on Thursday been released on Ksh 1 million cash bail or an alternative of Ksh 2 million bond.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Elizabeth Usui through a virtual link, Hon. Johana Ng’eno was warned against making any utterances that will cause hate as was the case.
The prosecution pleaded with the Magistrate not to grant the legislator bail as he could influence witnesses.

Their request was however denied as it lacked merit before he was slapped with Ksh 1 million cash bail.
The MP was arrested three days ago at his county following a meeting where he called out the President and his family over the current alleged fallout with his Deputy William Ruto.
DPP Noordin Haji approved his arrest saying the offence amounted to hate speech and should be charged as per the law.
