Once a parcel/letter/document has been received, they will be able to get an SMS alert.

They will then have the option of going to the post office by themselves or request to have their goods delivered to them at an extra Ksh 300.

Speaking at the launch, Safaricom Director of Enterprise Business Rita Okuthe said that they are looking forward to leverage technology to link the lives of Kenyans to many opportunities.

“At Safaricom, our purpose is to Transform Lives, and we do so by leveraging technology to link them to more opportunities.”

She continued by saying they are more glad to partner with Posta and enable customers to open a post office box and pay via M-Pesa.

Ruth promised to invest in their marketing capabilities to ensure that the service grows and scale.
