Things turned wild at the event when the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator was welcomed on stage by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.

He then went ahead to say that the speakers at the event were a sign that it was a one-sided affair.

Chants rented the air as BBI chairman Yusuf Hajji tried to calm down the situation.

He, however, possed and continued by saying how unfair it will be to leave without saying the programme was a one-sided affair.

Several Kenyans took on social media to praise the Senator saying his stand was a brave one.

“At some point, it suffices to say that Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is a brave man.

He stood up to the entire Bomas shouting him down, stood up to the ODM organizers of the event, the President and above all, stood his ground and expressed his views. That was brave.” Said Abraham Mohammed.

The Senator himself quoted the Bible saying how the truth shall set people free.
