“Hosted a delegation of over 500 Western Kenya Elders at my home in Mululu. I explained my agenda for the people of Kenya based on economic recovery. I reiterated my target is the Presidency come 2022. They vowed to support & market my agenda as I embark on countrywide campaigns.” Said Musalia Mudavadi.
The news comes at a time when the ANC party leader, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, Hon. Moses Wetangula and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka hinted of a major to advance their political ambitions.
Speaking in one voice, they hoped ODM leader Raila Odinga will back their plan as they have supported him in the past.
The former Prime Minister has not yet declared interest in the top seat and instead pushed and campaigned for the Building Bridges (BBI) amendment bill.
President Uhuru Kenyatta may have opened the ground for a full fight after he made it clear that it is about time that the country is run by someone from another tribe. He was speaking during the burial of Hon. Musalia Mudavadi’s mother.
