Nairobi MCA Mary Njambi was popularly known as “ krimino” has been suspended on Thursday alongside three others.

The four MCA’s were suspended due to what has been termed as gross misconduct as seen during the forceful removal of Nairobi County speaker Elachi.

Nairobi County Assembly Power and Privilege Committee said that their actions were uncalled for even if they have differences with Elachi.

It will be remembered that back in September, Nairobi County MCA’s stormed into Elachi’s office demanding her immediate removal from power.

Their actions back them had been the talk of the country and what has been termed as un called for by the Nairobi County Committee.

The three others suspended alongside Mary Njambi include Mary Ariviza, Laura Mwende, and Nancy Muthami.

Elachi called in the police who helped to disperse the angry crowd that was standing outside the county offices.

She later obtained an order blocking her removal from office.
