Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja arrested

The news has also been confirmed by fellow politicians under the Kenya Kwanza umbrella who blame President Uhuru terming the move as a plan to exclude him in the ballot.

“President Kenyatta has ordered DCI to arrest Johnson Sakaja in the hope that it will help influence the case in the Court and IEBC Dispute Committee.Sakaja has a degree and is qualified to run for office under the Constitution and the law. Stop the Sideshows.Let the people decide” Said Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

Sakaja, George Kinoti drama

His arrest comes barely hours after the Senator dared the DCI boss George Kinoti to arrest him over links with an international criminal syndicate.

The DCI boss was quoted by Nation promising not to let fraudsters run the city of Nairobi and that he will involve international agencies to investigate claims of forged certicates.

Responding to Kinoti, Sakaja noted that he will not be intimidated by the threats but it the people of Nairobi who will decide. He went ahead to dare Kinoti to arrest him.

““Bwana DCI Kinoti, I’m at my Riverside office, karibu or let me know if you’d like me to come over. Your office will not install a project on the people of Nairobi. My qualifications are legit and the relevant institutions have refused to play along with your games. Let the people decide.” Said Senator Sakaja
