A teacher at Hopewell secondary school has been found murdered on Friday morning.
The death of the teacher who was supervising night preps has led to the arrest of three people, one of them being a student of the same school.
According to the school director Mr. Vitalis Kahendah, the teacher had confiscated a mobile phone from of the Form Four student which did not belong to the student but to one suspect who lived around the school compound.

The teacher is believed to have been beaten to death after being attacked by an outsider who made his way to the school compound through an opening in the school fence.
According to the school rules, once a mobile phone is confiscated it is held with the teacher and handed back to the student at the end of schooling.
The body of the teacher has since been taken to Nakuru Level Five hospital mortuary.
