Nancy Njeri set to be suspended from service, faces murder

Nancy Njeri the female police accused of chopping the hands of Lawyer Onesmus Makau is set to be suspended from service.

In addition to the new changes, she is also set to face murder charges following the death of the Lawyer who just died at KNH as he underwent treatment.

According to a publication by Citizen TV, Makueni police boss Joseph Ole Napeiyan confirmed that the suspension is because the charges will be amended from assault to murder.

Njeri who is based at the Makueni police station is reported to have chopped Makau’s hands on October 7th and has since then been receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi.

She revealed to have chopped his hands in defense claiming the Lawyer attempted to rape her something that is still under investigation.
