Embattled Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has on Tuesday received a heroic welcome following his release.

The defiant Member of Parliament appeared before Murang’a law court where he claimed his life was in danger.

Addressing the honorable court, MP Ndindi Nyoro claimed his life was in danger following the events of his clash with Maina Kamanda.

Narrating the ordeals leading to his arrest he asked as to why many police officers were deployed to arrest a single person.

He further continued by saying that he has not yet slept since then and that he will follow the legal channel.

Nyoro who was arrested on Monday confirmed that the police deployed to arrest him were receiving orders from above.

Interior PS Karanja Kibicho was not left out of the story as he passed a message to the PS saying he is not a foolish man.

The inclusion of PS Kibicho follows a phone call confirmed by Nyoro’s lawyer Senator Irungu Kang’ata informing the Kiharu MP that all charges against him have been dropped.

Ndindi’s woes began on Sunday when he confronted Kamanda during a Sunday service. Kamanda who allied to the Kieleweke team is said to have been sent by the President.

Nyoro who is allied to team Tanga Tanga said he would not allow Kamanda to “act like he is invisible”
