Neymar striped Brazil captaincy and replaced with Dani Alves

Neymar has been stripped off Brazil captaincy role for next month’s Copa-America and in his place will be PSG team Mate Dani Alves.

Neymar who has been in control of the role for eight months now has been under pressure following recent disciplinary action taken against him.

Recently, the 27-year old forward was banned for three matches after hitting a fan during their humiliating defeat against Rennes in Ligue 1.

He also been involved in dressing room incidents with fellow PSG players.

In his first responsibility as Brazil captain, 36-year old Dani Alves will lead his national in friendlies against Qatar and Honduras.

Copa-America will take place in Brazil from 14th June to 7th July where they will face Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru in Group A.
