Neymar to play against South Korea, confirms Brazil coach Tite

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar will be available and play against South Korea as confirmed by Brazil coach Tite.

The news is good news to both the Brazilian team and fans as his absence could affect the strength of the team as seen during their 1-0 loss against Cameroon.

Tite however made it clear that his availability depends on how Neymar will train with the rest of the squad in Qatar.

Neymar was substituted during their World Cup clash against Switzerland after suffering a twist in his ankle as revealed by the PSG star himself who posted a photo of his swollen leg.

Even though he was out nursing an injury, Brazil qualified for the last 16 teams of the competition leading their group and booking a game with South Korea.

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus also suffered an ankle injury and will miss three months of action as he is set to undergo surgery.

Mikel Arteta will now rely on Eddie Nketiah upfront and miss his creative ability that has led to the club’s recent success.
