Nick Mutuma puts to rest sexual assault allegations

Actor Nick Mutuma has addressed sexual assault allegations leveled against him following a long Twitter revealtion.

The Shuga actor denied the allegations that have in the last few days become a nightmare to him and his entire family.

“Again, I would like to put this incident behind me but I understand the importance of clarity: I did not sexually assault Mwangi Rachel nor any other woman. This is the last I would like to speak on this publicly. Thank you.” Said Nick.

According to Mwangi, she reveals how strongly she is against the vice and that the matter that happened back in 2017 was solved privately between the two.

“I believe in accountability and I believe that any person that perpetrates any form of violence or assault must be held accountable. However, this is not such an incident. I thought I had put this behind me and moved on, until the issue recently resurfaced on social media.

I personally have no ill will against Nick Mutuma, I admire the progress he has made in his career and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Like I said, this issue was resolved and I hate to see people using it to tear Nick down.

I would also like to thank all the people who fight for victims. Thank you for wanting to fight for me and continue fighting for others.” Said Rachel

In 2017, the actor addressed the allegation as he demanded to speak to the Rachel and her partner Koome Gitobu.

“I entirely deny the story that is currently circulating about me. I’m extremely distressed that I’m being linked to this. I am passionate about creating an environment where women feel – and are – safe and respected. I would like to speak to Koome Gitobu and his gf directly.” Said Mutuma.
