Nick Ruto, DP Ruto’s son holds private traditional wedding

Deputy President William Ruto elder son Nick Ruto has on Saturday hold a traditional wedding popularly known as Koito among Kalenjins.

The invite only event was graced by prominent politicians and businessmen in the country where families of both the bride and groom met for introduction purposes.

Dressed in a white kitenge, Nick Ruto did not disappoint and was in the fore front with a number of family members heading out to the venue located at Karen, Nairobi.

Both the Deputy President and his wife Rachael Ruto donned purple vitenges and walked together to grace the colourful event.

This is the second event organized by the Deputy President with the first one being that of her daughter June Ruto who married off to her Nigerian fiancé Alex Ezenagu. The dowry negotiation ceremony was done at Nairobi.

Speaking after the ceremony, the Deputy President noted how he thought his daughter was going for a Kenyan man as he looked forward to another one from the rest of his children.
