Niger in the process to change National Anthem

Niger is seeking ideas as it is in the process of changing its National Anthem.

Through the ministry in charge of Cultural Renaissance Assoumana, they would like to do away with the anthem which was composed back in 1961.

They have highlighted displeasure in the message in the current anthem saying it is “directed” to their colonizers France.

Ethiopia call for Somali to be National language

Ethiopia has called for the Somali language to be allowed to be the national language of the country.

Speaking on the matter was the head of the People Democratic Party in Ethiopia who recognized the population of Somali’s in the country.

Currently, Ethiopia has one language that is the Amharic.
