Soldiers in Nigeria are arresting men in dreadlocks and those with dyed hair in the Southern District of Abia.
The soldiers who were masked are reported to be arresting the men, cutting off their dreadlocks with scissors before zooming them away to an unknown destination.
The arrests that occurred over the weekend have prompted the Nigerian army to investigate the incident.
It is not the first time men in dreadlocks have been targeted in Nigeria with the police shooting dead a bystander in Lagos in March.
The incident happened when the police had gone to arrest a man in dreadlocks in a bar before a scuffle ensued.
People with dreadlocks have been warned to cut off their hair as they are at risk of being targeted or being shot dead by such unknown men.
