Angry Nyandarua residents have arrested a blind man and his wife after they caught them with 700 grams of bhang.

Mukukha Kamau and Susan Wanjiru were arrested on Tuesday at Kinangop Constituency and were forced to name their supplier.

In fear of the irate crowd, the couples named one Njoki who supplies them with the illegal substance.

Initially, residents had threatened to lynch them and burn their houses as they accused them of selling bhang to young people in the society and even using others to traffic it.

Luckily they were frog marched to Magumu Police Station where they were detained together with the evidence.

It was during the interrogation that the wife to the blind man revealed that she sells from home while her husband hawks it at market places.

They sell a roll at Ksh 20 making a daily profit of Ksh 500.

Defending her wife, Mr. Kamau said that he is the master in the game and that her wife only makes the rolls.
