An Air Force officer traveling with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to the G20 summit has been arrested in possession of 39 kilograms of Cocaine.
The arrest of the Brazilian Air Force officer is reported to have happened in Seville, Spain when the back-up plane to Osaka made a stopover.
Investigations have begun with a military police probe also launched to investigate the narcotics being held at Seville airport.
Reacting to the news, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro who was traveling in a separate plane condemned the incident calling for the Defense Ministry to cooperate with Spanish authorities.
He also added that if the officer is proven guilty he will be convicted by the law.
Brazil Vice-President Hamilton Mourao referred to the accused officer as a “qualified drug mule” given the fact that he traveled with such a huge quantity of drugs.

38-year old Sergeant Silva Rodrigues is being held by Spanish authorities without bail as revealed by reporters on the ground.
