Ferdinand Omanyala, the man who has established his name as the fastest African sprinter has set a new national record.
Omanyala clocked 6.57 seconds in the 60 meters indoor games at Hauts-de- France Pas-de-Calais in France and finish fourth overally.
It was the second record in less than a week that he had recorded as he took pole position in Meeting Metz Monselle Athlelor, France five days ago.

In total, it was his fourth record that the 26-year-old has set with the first one being 6.66 seconds before a second personal best of 6.63 seconds.
Taking on social media, the 26-year-old noted how he was going back to the drawing board and train even harder so as to improve his craft in the arena.
“It has been a great experience participating in the 60metres indoor tour, in which I broke the national record 4 times. 6.66, 6.63, 6.60 and 6.57. Back to the drawing board, training even harder and improving my craft to make it perfect.” Said Omanyala
