Detectives working on the gruesome murder of 26-year-old model and LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba have arrested one suspect.
This is after testimonials from eyewitnesses placed the suspect as the last person who was seen with the deceased at his house in Eldoret before his mysterious disappearance.
According to one witness, the suspect was last seen walking out with a metallic box just like the one found at the scene of the crime.

The witness further confirmed that loud screams were first heard at the house of the deceased before silence rented the air. A strong foul smell followed next but when the suspect was questioned about it, he claimed to have been due to a dead rat.
The news comes after the body of the deceased was found stashed inside a metallic box and dumped along Kipenyo-Katinga Road in Uasin Gishu County. It is reported that a numberless car dropped off the body before bodaboda operators discovered it.
Addressing the media was the family of Edwin Chiloba who noted how their kin was badly killed with his eyes gouged out.
