Council of Governors chairman Wycliffe Oparanya has on Wednesday told other counties not to remit payments toward the 38B medical equipment agreement.
Speaking from Kisumu, Governor Oparanya said that they were not involved during the agreement between the supplier and the National government in 2015.
Its due those reasons that the Council of Governors has threatened to move to court over the 38B medical equipment leased to counties.

The Kakamega governor also told other counties to reject the revenue share from the National treasury meant to finance the medical equipment agreement.
In addition to that, Governor Oparanya said that the whole project was surrounded with mystery’s from the word go and that counties were manipulated and blackmailed into signing the agreement.
