Pakistan appoint first female judge

Pakistan has appointed Suman Paman as a judge becoming the first female judge of the Hindu community to hail from the minority community.

Suman is the daughter of Dr. Pawan Podani who stood position 54 in the merit list of judges/magistrates who were set for appointment.

The new judge comes from the rural are of Shahdadkot and excelled very well in her career in pursuit of her dream.

She first pursued her LLB at Hyderabad before moving to Karachi where she pursued her LLM from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.

She first practiced law for two years. Suman is said to have chosen law due to the desire of her father
