Pakistan man kills teenage girl after refusing marriage proposal

A Pakistan man has been accused for shooting dead a 16 year old girl after refusing his marriage proposal.

Tahir Abbas is said to have stormed into the girl’s house armed with a pistol before forcing the girl to leave with him. On refusing the murderer is said to have shot her before fleeing the crime scene.

The brother to the deceased said that they were in the house when Abbas entered before catching the victim saying that they should leave.

The 16 year old is said to have been proposed already to another man but the murderer forcibly wanted her.

In a preliminary report, the brother to the victim said that they tried to stop Abbas but he pointed a gun to them threatening to take their life. Upon refusal to go with him, the girl was shot on the spot.

The family confirmed that the 16 year old girl had already been handed over to her relatives after completing the marriage legal formalities.

A case against the killer has been reported as investigations continue.
