Passaris responds to viral video of her allegedly bribing Mombasa residents

Re-elected Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has responded a viral video shared by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko of dishing out money to Mombasa residents

In the video, Passaris who was in the company of former Murang’a Woman Rep. Sabina Chege could be seen interacting with Mombasa residents as they issued something to them right infront of cameras.

Responding to claims of bribery, Passaris noted that they were issuing pocket-size leaflets which were orange in colour. She continued by providing a sample of the card with the name of their gubernatorial candidate.

“David Ndii That’s not cash but pocket-size leaflets..Stop peddling lies, it’s obvious the cards are orange.” Said Passaris

She continued by shaming Sonko for lying to Kenyans and that they were educating Mombasa residents so that they can make informed decision on their next Governor.

“Propaganda will not win you votes. 50 bob is pink not orange. Voters won’t fall for your cheap theatrics. We would not try to buy voters as do you because we value them. We educate & allow voters to make informed decisions.” Said Passaris
