Speaking to the Nairobi Women Rep. Jackline’s husband narrated how they were blocked from accessing Pumwani Hospital by the guards.
They then resorted to visit a neighboring hospital where they were again denied entry prompting them to return to Pumwani Maternity hospital.
Kenyans who were at the scene reacted by demanding the hospital to act before a nurse at the hospital responded and even booked the mother and child at the facility.
The incident has attracted criticism forcing Nairobi Metropolitan Service apologize promising major changes at the facility.
