Kenyatta National Hospital has quarantined a passenger on board Kenya Airways over fears of coronavirus.
A statement from Kenya Airways said the passenger who had traveled from Guanzhou displayed flu-like symptoms upon arrival in Nairobi.
The government intervened in the matter and made the decision to quarantine the passenger to pave way for further testing.

The national courier further stated that a precautionary measure, all passengers undergo a test before they are cleared to leave the country.
It is due to the symptoms that the patient has now been canceled his entire trip until a report indicating otherwise comes through.
As of Tuesday, the number of deaths caused by coronavirus has risen to 106 with all deaths happening within China.
Fears have grown over the spread of the virus to other countries including Cambodia and Sri Lanka.
Ivory Coast reported similar symptoms when a student from China arrived in the country.
She is currently under observation after she was moved to an isolated area.
The virus which originated from the city of Wuhan is reported to have been caused by the illegal trade of wild animals.
World Health Organization (WHO) had declined to declare it an international disaster maintaining hope that China will curb it.
