The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) has promised to take action against Sasa TV over breach of the code of conduct for the practice of journalism in the country.
This is after the station provided platform and allowed airing of offensive content on 9th October thus breaching accountability and obscenity, taste and tone in reporting by allowing pastor James Ng’ang’a utter the offensive words.

MCK has further direct the station to show cause as to why action against them should not be taken relevant to sanctions in line with there mandate.
In addition to the above, the council has further called on Communication Kenya to investigate the matter after Sasa TV breached programming code for free-to-air radio and TV services in the country.
Media houses, journalist and editors have been warned against breaching the council’s code of conduct failure in which will attract penalties in line with the Media Council Act of 2013.
Pastor Ng’ang’a is not new to making headlines from facing arrest to issuing statements contrary to his role as man of God meant to lead people the right way.
