Neno Evangelism pastor Ng’ang’a has on Monday apologized to Citizen TV boss Linus Kaikai following his alleged threats.
Appearing before Kiambu Law Courts Chief magistrate Patricia Gichohi, Ng’ang’a apologized saying he did not mean what he said.
In response to the apology, the Citizen TV Director of Strategy and Innovation said he has forgiven the controversial pastor for the threats of life directed at him.
“I HAVE today forgiven Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism for the threats to life he directed at me in March this year.
Pastor Ng’ang’a apologized to me before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts and I accepted the apology.” Said Kaikai.
In March this year, Ng’ang’a was quoted in a viral video threatening Kaikai as he wore military regalia.
Even though he did not mention Linus Kaikai’s name, Ng’ang’a warned the news anchor unknown consequences if he does not leave him alone.
The Neno Evangelism pastor’s sentiments came following a Thursday night show dubbed News Gang where Kaikai referred to pastors as spiritual fraudsters taking advantage of unsuspecting Kenyans.
Kenyans on Twitter have praised Linus Kaikai for extending his apology terming it as a gentleman’s move.
Others quoted Bible verses saying encouraging the Citizen TV boss to keep up with the spirit.
“This is Maturity, Forgiveness is very expensive and can only be found with the few Chosen. Proud of you” Said one Twitter User.
“Mark 11:25: And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” Said Kabando Wa Kabando.
James Ng’ang’a making headlines again
This year again the controversial pastor was hitting the headlines for the wrong reason.
He was quoted threating to shut down the Church branches and fire pastors who fail to respect his wife.
Pastor Ng’ang’a continued by chest-thumping that if it was not for him them they could not be where they are.
