Patrick Hinga a former street man whose story of transformation was shared by Ms. Wanja Mwaura has passed on.
Mr. Hinga’s story was liked on social media after his transformation story was shared by his former schoolmate Wanja Mwaura.
Taking on social media to share the sad news, Ms. Wanja said that it’s with deep sorrow that Hinga has rested.
“With deep sorrow, I want to inform you that Hinga has rested. He passed on this morning. I don’t have the strength to say much right now. R.I.P my friend.” Said Wanja Mwaura.
On Monday morning, Wanja took to social media to explain Hinga’s last moments before meeting his death.
“I know all of you my dear friends are concerned and have many questions about the death of our friend Hinga. Hinga was doing fine n he did his best to remain the man we all helped him to be. on Thursday the 14th, Hinga left home n went to visit his friends in Kayole, upon reaching there he called his mom n complained of a stomach-ache though not serious, he spent the night there and said he will be ok. On Saturday late night the problem persisted n that’s when he decided to go to the hospital but by the time the mother got to him early morning yesterday, he had already passed on.

We are still trying to come to terms with it n make funeral arrangements. I will update you when, where n how he will be buried. Thank you for your continued support. I need you more than ever before for this one last time.” Said Wanja Mwaura.
