Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed the best of Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho following their 2-0 defeat on Saturday.
The visitors suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat thanks to two goals from Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso in the first half and second half respectively.
Tottenham found themselves ahead in the 9th minute when the South Korean sent the ball past Ederson to give Mourinho a deserving lead.

Revival hopes for Manchester City faded when Lo Celso converted from a Harry Kane through ball in the 65th minute to double the lead.
Speaking after the match, Guardiola admitted that Mourinho is lethal when it comes to counter attacks especially when one loses focus in the middle of the clash.
He continued by noting how difficult it was for them to break the host defense especially when Harry Kane and Ndombele come to defend.
The win shows how serious Tottenham are in the race to lift the Premier League tittle and a similar win against Arsenal and Chelsea will be an added advantage for them.
Guardiola’s side is now stuck in position 11 with 12 points from eight games played in the league, the worst start for the Spaniard.
