Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is expected to make a shocking return to Bundesliga as Bayern Munich boss.

According to German reports, the most decorated coach visited Allianz Arena a few months ago suggesting he might still be interested in the job.

Bayern Munich which is currently looking for Luka Kovac replacement is looking forward to the City boss for a long term solution.

A surprising fact is that Guardiola has broken his three-year stay at a club having coached the Munich from 2013-2016.

While in charge he bagged seven domestic trophies but failed three times in a row in the Champions League at the semi-final stages.

His family and wife, in particular, is said to be against Manchester’s stay opting to move to Spain at the moment, something that may trigger his move from England.

Over the weekend Guardiola was left frustrated with the referee decision during their 3-1 defeat at Liverpool sending them nine points apart.
