Peter Karanja, second suspect in Cohen’s murder released

Peter Karanja a suspect in the murder of Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen has been released on Ksh 2 million cash bail.

The release of Peter Karanja was made on Tuesday when he appeared before Judge Daniel Ogembo.

The second suspect was married to Gilgil MP Martha Wangari and the two are reported to be engaged in legal battles.

Even though he has been released on bail, the Judge ordered the suspect not to step foot at his Gilgil house.

Peter is the second suspect in the murder of the tycoon after his Cohen’s wife Sarah Wairimu was release on Ksh 2 million bail on October 11th.

She was further ordered not to step foot at her Kitusuru house as it has been marked as a crime scene.

Investigators into the murder believe Karanja aided the murder of the tycoon as his body was recovered inside the compound of his home.
