Chelsea football club has confirmed the departure of former goalkeeper Petr Cech as the technical and performance advisor.
Cech who rejoined the club three years ago will effectively step down as at 30th, a move that he terms as a perfect timing given that the club is at its excellent position after finding new owners.

“It has been a huge privilege to perform this role at Chelsea for the past three years. With the Club under new ownership, I feel now is the right time for me to step aside. I am pleased that the Club is now in an excellent position with the new owners, and I am confident of its future success both on and off the pitch.’ Said Cech
The new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly termed the former Arsenal keeper as an important member of the club whose departure has fully been understood.
