Former Arsenal and Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has joined ice hockey following his retirement from football.

Petr Cech has joined Phoenix and will be making his debut this season in an exciting career switch.

Speaking ahead of the former Arsenal keeper’s debut, Phoenix head coach Andy Hemmings decribed Cech as hardworking sportsman.

Milos Melicherik expressed his excitement as he looked forward into seeing the former Chelsea keeper in action this weekend.

“We are excited to have Petr join the Phoenix and we are looking forward to seeing him in action this weekend”

Speaking ahead of his new career, Cech hopes to fulfil the club’s goals and win many games as possible.
